ELECTRIX:EPISODE 1 ALL NEW ON RHYTHM HOODS

                                                 PROLOGUE

my story had been untold for quite sometime now, it might have been whispered as fantasy or rumour on the streets but trust me when I tell you the story am about to narrate actually happened, ever since I was a little boy I always felt I was special, and unique abilities that no one could explain, like how my eyes could glow bluish grey any time I was around a large volt of current at least above 230 volt so I had to wear contact lenses, some said it was just a rare genetic abnormality that I might inherited from my parent but no one could say for such cause no one knew my parents, I was just a lonely abandoned baby that an orphanage home found on their door step. My life changed one when a man approached me and told me that he knew my parents and that if I could work for him he would tell me more about them, I didn’t know what accepting the mysterious man offer could do to my lonely, boring life but my life was never the same after I stepped into the enclosure of is compound.
 Well, my name is Greg Mickelson and this is my story.

                                            EPISODE 1

I woke up early, even earlier than I usually did, my heart still racing from the dreadful dream I just dreamt .
I decided to go back to sleep for the night was still young, but I couldn't fall asleep so I decided to research on the assignment the professor had given me.

   I worked for the professor to earn extra cash. As an orphan and a final year high school student life wasn't so easy for me, I took the professor's  job because of the income, the professor paid a rewarding price for my service and secondly the Professor Was Working On Something I Personally Had Interest In, Which Was electrons and their manipulation, my father had died from a similar experiment when my mother was still pregnant with me and my mother died not long after childbirth because she had been present when the blast killed my father and she too had absorbed the effect of the blast and so did the baby, but no one knew, at least that was what the professor told me when I asked about my parent, which he claimed he had close relations with.
the professor had asked me to research on the same  project I had been working on since I started working for the professor, which was finding different ways to generate and transfer electricity  with both their pros and cons. I knew the professor was working on some kind of human genetics and a way to combine electrons with that of humans to create the perfect creation, a human that could control electrons and produce volt using only his thought, that could put an end to fossil fuel as source of power and reduce global warming. I knew all this because the professor had told me a zillion times, I was essential to the profs plan.

  the professor has been collecting my DNA samples and stabilizing them finding a way to allow excited electron and man to combine without cell failure, I was the only human that he could do such procedures on, because of the experiment that happened when I was in my mother womb her DNA had been altered along with mine. the professor had been my parents lab partner but I didn’t know about that yet cause the prof only gave me a little information every week saying I wasn’t ready for the whole truth,every time the prof spoke about my parent I could see the sadness in his eye like the thought on them still haunted him at night, the professor had been secretly watching me ever since I was a baby but I had no idea about that also.
By the time I was through with my research it was already dawn, it was time for me to  go back to Shine high high school, were I was constantly intimidated for being too smart.
While I was busy in the middle of the night researching, the professor had also been busy trying to have a break through and last night was is lucky night, he had finally done it he had finally combine a human and an excited electron without any cell failure the same experiment that killed his friend, my father .
Before I left for school I had a call from the professor he sounded really excited and told me to come early to work after school, and I was not to going visiting any of my usual stop like I was fond of doing

  After school I went straight to the professor's lab a sub basement below is house. School was surprisingly fun today, Christiana the girl I had been crushing on had finally spoken to me and the and the dumb ugly bullies that usually troubled me were not around, they had a football match in another school and since they were all football player none of them were around.

  As I entered the prof’s house I was surprise to see it in ruins, I was even more surprised to see traces of blood on the elevator descending down into the lab, I was such a fight had taken place there and someone was injured. I was scared I didn't know what had happened my palm became sweaty, my heartbeat increased as the elevator descended into the lab.
 the lab was  just as scattered as the the house even worse. I searched every crook and cranky in the lab in search of the professor but it seemed as if he had vanished, not a single trace of him was found. I was as confused as I could be, as I leaned against the wall tried and frustrated, then suddenly I heard  a voice.

  I looked around couldn't see anyone, I thought it was is imagination, I heard it again but this time even louder than before, calling my name. I asked ‘who is there show yourself', and like magic the door opened in front of me, a secret entrance that with all the years I had worked with the professor I never knew it existed.

  As I walked into the room the door behind me closed, In the room were tools, gadgets and equipment I never knew the professor had, the tools were advanced and expensive I didn’t think the professor could afford  them. As I looked around the voice welcomed me, I was startled and asked the same question I had asked before, that was when the voice told me all I wanted to know.

  she had told she was the professor's daughter, that Prof made her in case this day ever happened she was sort of a contagious  plan, she also said prof left a video before I was kidnapped. In the video in saw the professor frightened and scared telling me they were coming for me, that they wanted secret formula, I also told me that my own life was at risk, because if they ever knew I was working for him they could also come for me.
Lisa, which was the name of the made prof’s daughter told me the professor had completed my experiment and had told her to activate the process immediately I was around. I was sceptical about the experiment but I had no choice it was either I did the experiment or I dies, moreover I still had to save the professor.
As I stepped into the experiment chamber I could feel my skin crawling, I laid down and then the bed locked me in, then came the needles and tube, after that I felt excruciating pain and then I blanked out.
